i could pretend that we took Tripp to some beautiful farm with a hayride, horses, and all the other things that come to mind when you think of pumpkin picking.
but the truth is we live in a city. and after much discussion we came to the conclusion that we were pretty far behind on the whole pumpkin picking thing as it was. so in the name of efficiency we drove to Dorchester and hit up Lamberts as to not completely deprive our child of the experience. it worked out quite perfectly. we had the entire place to ourselves (we must be even further behind than i thought...) and the nice cashier lady even offered to snap a family photo for us - going as far as saying, "common, we've got to make it look like you're not in Dorchester". considering we have a total of, oh, twoish family photos - this alone made my weekend. so, thank you, kind lady!
now on to the carving and seed eating!
really - its the only part of the holiday i enjoy.
